The part you’ll play

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer for our Innovation Team. This person will help us to build our infrastructure in AWS for our mobile apps.

This position requires hands-on development and a close working relationship with our dev teams to ensure a high-quality product.

 

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Experience working with AWS
  • Knowledge dealing with Infrastructure as Code
  • Experience working with containers (docker, ECS, EKS...)
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines from scratch
  • Familiarity using Terraform
  • Have already worked withGitlab, ArgoCD, DataDog or NewRelic
  • A passion for engineering, learning, and teamwork is a must!
  • Verbal English skills (we work in English!)

 Nice to have:

  • Databases (MongoDB, MySQL…)
  • Working skills with Distributed Systems
  • Ansible, GitOps

What does the recruitment process look like?

  6. On-Boarding of new employee

At each stage, we make candidates have the necessary documentation and information to hand, offer great channels for communication, and we carefully review if we would like to invite the candidate to move forward in our hiring process. 

 

What does the onboarding process look like?

From the moment you accept our offer, we’ll be on hand to answer any questions or concerns you have along the way. 

Firstly, we’ll run a standard administrative process to get to know you better. This includes details like your contract and registration to ensure we have the correct information to file. 

Next, depending on your unique needs and short-term requirements, we’ll send you a custom-built welcome pack that includes the essential materials you need, such as a laptop, screen, table, and comfortable chair. 

Will this be a remote-first position while Covid-19 is present?

Luckily, our business model never shifted as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Since we work remotely on a regular basis this won’t affect us – perhaps in the future when our company grows, an office could be highly valuable. 

If you find yourself wanting to come into the office, we provide co-working spaces where you can visit as you please – for example, twice per week or whenever you feel comfortable doing so.
