The purpose of this role is to support the Head of Financial Controls Compliance in building a group-wide financial controls framework and roll it out to the various national and international subsidiaries. The Group Manager SOX Compliance will advise and support the business units as well as the group functions in all matters related to internal controls over financial reporting, including all relevant IT controls.

What you will be responsible for

  • As a team, be overall responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the system of internal controls over financial and non-financial reporting throughout the SSU Group.
  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with process and control owners throughout the SSU group incl. all SOX-relevant subsidiaries.
  • Educate process and control owners on methodology, implementation, review and documentation of internal controls.
  • Ensure effectiveness and efficiency of the system of internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Support prioritization and delivery of all SOX-related improvements throughout the group.
  • As a member of the team, act as contact for all relevant functions on SOX-Compliance enablement and communication.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in business administration or equivalent.
  • Min 5 years of experience in a SOX/PCAOB environment or equivalent, either in a consulting role, ideally supported by industry experience.
  • Ideally SAP and Signavio experience.
  • Proven track record in design and/or testing of Financial and IT controls.
  • Solid business understanding.
  • Experience in E-commerce/Retail/Supply-Chain a plus.
  • Very good communication skills on all levels.
  • English and German language skills (fluent) a must, French language skills a plus.
