Reporting to the Head of Technology, this role will provide functional and technical support for reporting and business Intelligence initiatives. The focus of this position is to partner with key business stakeholders to identify opportunities, define and deliver BI solutions that transform data into critical information to empower our business in reaching its strategic goals.
Act as a bridge between developers, finance, marketing, and business stakeholders to ensure the business is supplied with clean, actionable data. Develop, implement, and support capabilities to drive operationalizing data through reporting and visualization. Translate business level KPI’s into automated standardized reporting for business users to better understand how they can be effective in their roles.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform day-to-day operations; includes monitoring and maintenance, problem investigation and resolution, database optimization and tuning, etc.
- Develop enhanced functionality on our existing software products and provide development support and assistance for escalations and issues
- Tackle multiple data transformation and reporting needs, including revenue recognition, email metrics, website and mobile app analysis, customer retention, marketing efficiency, and more.
- Develop and maintain reports, report schedules, dashboards, publishing, and user administration
- Participate in the integration of new systems and recommend new technology to support enhanced data needs and requirements.
- Apply data modeling techniques to ensure integration and performance expectations are met as well as allow for future flexibility to meet changing business needs
- Create clear, insightful, automated visualizations and reports that provide visibility into business performance, issues, and opportunities.
- Provide end user training and education programs to on-board and support power users for Business Intelligence tools and data reporting needs
- Ensures the security, reliability, consistency, and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions
- Collaborate effectively with teams and business partners to define, document, and implement project work
