We are leveraging our unique tech and operating platform to power our leading online stores like Fahrrad.de, Bikester, Probikeshop, Tennis-Point, Outfitter, and many more. 
 
SSU is firmly in growth mode, so far in 2021, we have entered the US market with the acquisitions of Tennis Express and Midwest sports, two of the largest tennis platforms in the US, we have acquired WiggleCRC, a global bike retailer, thus creating the biggest online bike retailer in the world. On 15.12.21 Signa Sports United has successfully floated on the New York Stock exchange and is now a publicly traded Company.

Signa Sports United is looking for an experienced System Administrator, to help us build and maintain the SSU reference infrastructure. As well as being part of the process of migrating the on prem infrastructure to the cloud.

What you will be responsible for

  • Analyze and design the infrastructure necessary to maintain our services
  • Improve our current monitoring systems
  • Work with AWS to migrate on-premises services
  • Help design the networking architecture to intercommunicate all companies in the group

What we're looking for

What you will bring to the team:

  • Experience maintaining and monitoring production environments
  • Knowledge with networking (firewalls, VPN, DNS ...)
  • Experience setting up Active Directory and LDAP
  • Verbal English skills (we work in English!)


Nice to have

  • Previous experience with Fortinet is a plus
  • Have worked with AWS or other cloud provider

What does the recruitment process look like?

  2. First interview to know each other, answer doubts and have a better idea of their soft skills
  3. Second interview technical, to check hard skills
  4. Third interview, with part of the team
  5. We make an offer to the candidate we feel is the best fit for the role
  6. On-Boarding of new employee

At each stage, we make candidates have the necessary documentation and information to hand, offer great channels for communication, and we carefully review if we would like to invite the candidate to move forward in our hiring process. 

 

What does the onboarding process look like?

From the moment you accept our offer, we’ll be on hand to answer any questions or concerns you have along the way. 

Firstly, we’ll run a standard administrative process to get to know you better. This includes details like your contract and registration to ensure we have the correct information to file. 

Next, depending on your unique needs and short-term requirements, we’ll send you a custom-built welcome pack that includes the essential materials you need, such as a laptop, screen, table, and comfortable chair. 

Will this be a remote-first position while Covid-19 is present?

Luckily, our business model never shifted as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Since we work remotely on a regular basis this won’t affect us – perhaps in the future when our company grows, an office could be highly valuable. 

If you find yourself wanting to come into the office, we provide co-working spaces where you can visit as you please – for example, twice per week or whenever you feel comfortable doing so.
